Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Binomy account and everything stored with it. There are two ways to do this.

From the app

Open Binomy and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab, the rightmost icon in the bottom bar.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

By email

If you no longer have the app installed, send us a deletion request from the email address registered to your account.

We confirm and complete the request within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm from the registered address before deleting, so that nobody else can close your account.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We remove:

your account and sign-in credentials;
your profile, including your photo, phone number, and university;
every listing you published, and its photos;
your booking requests and their history;
your conversations, messages, and any files you sent;
your saved favourites;
your push notification token.

What may remain briefly

Encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion. Messages you sent to another user remain visible in that person's copy of the conversation, in the same way an email you sent stays in the recipient's inbox.
